[productsample/affiliate] There are some exciting things coming in perfume world so if you’re a fragrance lover your time is now! Diptyque has a small Prets-A-Parfumer range coming out and I can promise you the entire collection will sell out (remember how the candle decorations are in the shops one minute and the next they’re completely sold out?) very quickly. So, saying you can’t think about (I daren’t say it), er, festive times, in September won’t cut it in this case!
I have another Diptyque surprise for you tomorrow but I’m starting with the perfumed brooch that comes in a dear little cotton bag to protect it inside the box.
So here we are – this fine feathered bird with its dangly, mobile legs houses on the other side an oval slot (egg shaped) in which to pop a ceramic disc perfumed with either Do Son, Eau Rose or Fleur de Peau.

The design is inspired by renaissance pomanders but in fact, birds are symbolic for Diptyque as their original store was decorated with wooden birds. Each disc should last a good month – the brooch comes with two discs (they must surely be selling refills going forward) – but you must replace in the resealable bag after every use. It’s £92 HERE.
