[unpaid/sample] I had to Google to find out where Langkawi is – I almost wish I hadn’t because the pictures of the blazing blue sky and white beaches had my shivering self ready to pack and break any and all rules! It looks absolutely blissful.

Langkawi Candle

First to say that it’s a very smooth scent – not over strong so probably best for a small room; I think it could get lost in in a vast cavern. It’s a combination of frangipani, coconut and lemongrass but don’t be conjouring up sweet cocktails and exotic gardens – Langkawi is much more subtle than that.

Crosskey Avenue Langkawi Candle

I’ve had this on the burn in my kitchen for a couple of hours – it’s mellow and happy with a creaminess to the notes that’s very relaxing. With sandalwood at the base, there’s an added milkiness with undertones of green. It’s holiday-ish in a non-obvious way. If you like big fragrances, it’s not for you, but if you prefer nuanced notes that are gently transporting and enhancing, it’s a win. The Langkawi candle is £39 HERE, and it’s a made in the UK brand.
