I love any man-fragrance with violet leaf in it – it’s a very green scent that freshens any fragrance. Artemesia is the front runner (more commonly known as mugwort so you can see why it uses the more fancy name in the note run-down) and that’s quite a dry, aromatic or even herbal note. Tonka bean gives it a soft finish and the entirety is wrapped in woody, musky accords. It’s HERE. The female version is £39.99 down from £75 and is a fruity floral if that’s your preference. Ooooh. I have just got a 100ml bottle of SJP’s Covet Pure Bloom for a very reduced £11.50 from FD. Thank you Jane. There are some great deals to be had out there. John Lewis has some very good reductions, need to be quick though!
Isn’t mugwort a wonderful name 🙂 Tonka bean is an interesting ingredient, I had no idea it can be used in cooking in very small doses as well.
