The Body Shop Polynesian Island Tiare EDT
The Body Shop Polynesian Island Tiare EDT

Another collection from The Body Shop that’s all about raising the spirits and capturing the mood of summer in a spritz. I’ve never been to Polynesia, but I’ve smelled some pretty awful representations of of tiare that have been messed about with so badly or doused so heavily in vanilla that they make you feel a bit sick! The Body Shop Polynesian Island Tiare EDT seems to have exactly the right balance of tiare, ylang ylang, coconut and vanilla to make you pray that wherever you’re heading on holiday it smells like this!

I prefer a fragrance that smells as you expect it might – no convoluted surprises with essence of clouds or extracts of pixies – and this does tick that box. It’s a blend of holiday cocktails, suncream and sunshine and if it doesn’t make you smile, I’ll be very surprised. There’s an accompanying Fragrance Mist (£8.50 and if it’s the kind of fragrance you can only live with fleetingly I’d recommend that over the EDT), a Body Lotion (£10), a Shower Gel (£6.50), a Body Cream (£14.50) and the EDT which is £18.

In the same way that the Pinita Colada collection sends you on a warm and joyous olfactory holiday journey, Polynesian Island Tiare is that same thing, but with less coconut. You can find The Body Shop Polynesian Island Tiare EDT HERE along with the rest of the collection.
