[unpaid/sample] This candle has been an instant hit in the BBB household. The name describes it perfectly – a soft, comforting and gentle cinnamon that is more warming and cosy than full on festive. I love it and it’s made me dig out an old Scandinavian spice biscuit recipe …

I was impressed with the level of throw – once the candle got going, it perfectly perfumed both the kitchen and the sitting room (interconnected) so we had the most lovely background aroma to watch a spooky drama (Sister) last night. It’s atmospheric, nurturing (if you like cinnamon) and steered a long way off the cheap-cookie inspired cinnamon candles I’ve experienced before, probably because the cinnamon is cut with bay, clove, sandalwood and cedar so well it doesn’t overly dominate.

It’s definitely one for when the evening starts to draw in – just that nice G&T hour when the day is done and you want to gather yourself before dinner. I’m always happy to see Scottish made products (because I’m from Scotland) – this brand has evolved over 30 years from a family soap business to a fully fledged bath, body and home collection working out of an old dairy farm on the isle of Arran. The candle is £30 HERE.

Sounds lovely
Sounds lovely! I’m so tired of buying candles that have no throw whatsoever so this is going on my treat list immediately.
I was so impressed with it.
Thank you for writing about this lovely candle. I know what you mean about cheap cinnamon fragrances. That’s why I’ve always purchased the Dipttyque Feu de Bois candle.
It is that time of the year to cuddle under a Scottish wool blanket with a Scottish candle. I miss Scotland. I visited Edinburgh three time, and the Highlands, Speyside, Islay (and tried the whiskey), and the isle of Skye. You have made me very nostalgic about the place. I couldn’t visit this year because of COVID.
You’re so welcome – yes, there are so many beautiful parts of Scotland.
