[productsample/affiliatelinks] Acqua Di Parma La Casa Sul Lago is an aquatic floral which is something I don’t come across very often.
The inspiration behind this candle the awakening of flowers in the morning dew – thankfully, I’m rarely up so early (never mind in the garden!) that it’s a familiar scent – a fresh, wet, petally kind of combination. It’s very gentle.
I can easily pick out the lily of the valley notes (which always reminds me of Dior) and less abundantly, the bergamot but I’m not getting a lot of cyclamen. The scent is rounded with musk and amber which somehow work when maybe they have no place being all warm and smooth in an aquatic note candle. If you like to include fragranced candles in your relaxation rituals (especially a sun-rise yoga sesh), I’d suggest that it’s lovely for that but if you want to fill a room with a burst of vibrant notes, this isn’t quite it. There’s no shame in being olfactorily gentle – a small room for example has no need for overpowering accents…think of it as a stroke, not a bear hug. Suits me fine :-).
Acqua Di Parma La Casa Sul Lago Candle is RRP £51 but I’ve found it for £45.90 HERE. Non-affiliate HERE.
