I was in Uniqlo on Oxford Street yesterday and had a very, very quick dash around to see if there was anything new. I spotted this – I’m calling it a hoodigan – but didn’t have time to queue to buy it. So annoying, because I love a hoodie. There was literally no sign in store of the huggy coats I blogged about a few weeks ago, by the way, so I think they’re gone. So, this hoodigan is a very handy thing for me – it’s not a traditional cardi and it’s not quite got the weight of a coat – and there are so many dog walks that require this very thing! Particularly in spring and autumn.
I took a few snaps on my iPhone so you can see the colour speckling which is really lovely and makes it a bit different. I love a bit of speckle – I thought there was a particular word for speckled wool but I can’t find it. What I will say is that the wool has more of a utility feel than a soft and snuggly feel, so it’s not a droopy thing but well-designed to hold its shape. I noticed on the Uniqlo website that these were coming up big, so if you do like a loose fit like me, it’s perfect, otherwise, you might want to go a size down. At £34.90, I think it’s pretty good value HERE.
