There’s nothing like rain in August to make you think of September and a whole new wardrobe! I’m super impressed with Hush’s autumn collection and eyeing up this loose, light knit (and the lacy thing underneath) because it’s exactly my go-to for being such an easy wear. It’s £75 HERE and also in a light navy.
I’ve also massively got my eye on these joggers – but I’m not sure if I’m brave enough! They’re £55 HERE. I’ve got a black pair in this style so I know they’re not too fitted and are flattering.. but..!! Incidentally, the descriptions says they sit on the hip – mine don’t! I didn’t find them hippy at all .. I think maybe it depends upon how tall you are – the models are 5ft 10 – I’m 5ft 3 (nearly 4) and they’re not far too long either. I wonder if there is a miscalculation somewhere.
I’ve actually just bought – and worn – this floaty, loose shirt from & Other Stories (£49 HERE). My friends make fun of my fondness for ‘sprigs’, but I love a sprig – especially in black and white. I wore it with the waxed jeans below from Mango on Saturday.

Mango Skinny Belle Jeans (£35 HERE) are the only waxed jeans that I can find.. they used to be everywhere but all my old ones are worn out now. I love them for looking a bit biker-ish but still having the fit and comfort of a jean. They’re not too low waisted either so quite forgiving. I take a standard size 12 and they’re a true fit.
