Friday Treat: Uniqlo Spring Coat

[affiliatelink] I’ve been eyeing up the Blocktech coats from Uniqlo for a few weeks – my last spring coat was from Uniqlo and to be honest, it’s not much different in style than this one, but Blocktech is a shower-proof version and after getting soaked three times in one day yesterday, it can’t wait much longer!

Uniqlo Spring Coat

This is the right colour for me – although of course my instinct is to buy black! I saw someone the other day wearing a coat exactly this buff shade with a white shirt and black trousers and she looked so stylish, but really, this shade won’t upset any other colours you wear with it.  The cut is so simple with a tidy collar that’s not too big and crucially, no sleeve belts. I don’t know the technical term for when they put a buckle and belt type thing on trench coat cuffs but I absolutely hate them!

I also like where it hits on the thigh. The lining is matte and it comes in Beige, Black, Pink and Navy in sizes XS to XXL. It’s the first thing in my basket when I’m in London next week. It’s £79.90 HERE. Non affiliate HERE.

Of all your great posts, this is the most miraculous!
I’ve been searching for THIS mac for literally years, and had miserably given up. Was just going to order the (buckle-free) cotton trench from M&S, half unwillingly.
This, in black, has beeen my holy grail! (I wish I could wear that sandy stone shade, but it doesn’t suit me. I bet you’ll look stunning in this)
Thank you; what a life saver!

I always forget them as there’s no store where I live, and I’m unfamiliar with the brand…..but I’m always delighted when I do look it up.
