[unpaid/affiliate/ad] Anyone noticed that interest in lipsticks is on the rise? I swear it’s down to the change in the weather and the fact that days are brighter and longer, and with that, usually is a mood upswing. Suddenly, that bright stick of colour that felt out of place for a while, starts to look more appealing by the day. Same with clothes. I’m automatically reaching for brighter things from my wardrobe and apart from a daily check in to Uniqlo to see if a) the Paul & Joe Collection has landed and b) if there are any new bra tops, I’m definitely being seduced by spring things on the internet. So, this is just a quick round up in case the tulips and daffs have got to you too 🙂

Yellow is always a tricky colour – I always want to wear it but somehow never can find quite the right thing. The diffusion of colours in this Sunshine Dream Sweatshirt at Anthropologie as part of their Daily Practice athleisure wear range, is a good way to embrace Pantone’s colour of the year without looking more lemon than human. It sits long (so over the bum) which is probably perfect for over your lycra running leggings. It’s £68 HERE, in a range of sizes from XS to XL.

Another way to get a little bit of yellow into your wardrobe (and this one is appealing a LOT to me) is from Boden (I cannot remember the last time I bought anything from Boden) and it sits just on the bum. As you can see in the picture, it’s completely at home with jeans.  Sizes are XS to XL. It’s £60 HERE.

This is from exactly the same Boden Collection – so the same sizes and price. I’m styling it in my head with black sweats or skinnies. It’s HERE.

Love this metallic rainbow effect sweat from Mint Velvet – the easiest ever wear I think, from an extra holiday layer to day to day. The description says it has a slightly fleeced inside but in my experience that’s only ever til you wash it and then it starts to behave like a normal cotton sweat. There’s a dark grey version too which obviously isn’t in the spirit of spring colour but it’s just as nice. This sweat comes in XS to XL and is £69 HERE.

If you just want something super simple, this ashy pink sweat from Hush fits the bill but has a little pocket that makes it more interesting than your average sweat. It’s in XS to XL and also comes in a washed khaki. It’s £45 HERE.
