I have tried to get my hands on this metallic shirt in store three times, and while it shows up on line, none of the stores I’ve visited has it in stock. It’s so weird. I am trying again tomorrow and if no joy, ordering on-line because it’s too good to miss. I’m not much of a sequin person (scatters is okay) and like my shimmer low key which is why this shirt is so right up my street.
As you can see, it’s quite sheer and very shimmery – the perfect light catchy combination. It’s easy enough to put a nude, white or black cami underneath (or nothing if you want, of course!) – I keep seeing satin camisoles and wondering how I can wear one and now I know. I’m also a big fan of a collar so this shirt would be an easy pop-under for a chunky sweater. I know that I’d wear it as an over-shirt in summer too, sleeves rolled up, with ripped jeans, Fitflops and a white strappy t-shirt. I think it’s pretty reasonable at £45 HERE for the number of ways it can be worn. The model in the picture is wearing a size 10 which looks generous so I think it’s sized for a loose fit.
