[unpaid/affiliate/ad] I’m not much of a fan of a cardigan but here we are in freezing cold May, resisting going back into full-on winter woolies but shivering in t-shirts. There’s not much call for jackets (those soft stretch jackets from Uniqlo are my default cardigans HERE and reduced from £35 to £19.90) which, although I have several, just don’t feel right sitting on my own at my lap top. So, home of better than average cardigans is COS – there’s always something a little bit different or quirky about them and I like slouchy and oversize which they do really, really well, in a way that looks purposeful not accidental. I’ve rounded up my favourites – with a couple of cashmere bargains because I can’t help myself.

Cos Cardigan

This linen blend long cardigan is right up my street – the fabric is more stylish than wool and a fresher wear in summer while still keeping you warm. It’s really the perfect, effortless layering piece to wear over anything from pyjamas to silk tops with strappy tops and t-shirts on the way and looks at home anywhere. The cut is oversize and is available in XS/S and M/L – I would definitely be the XS/S category for this and I’m a standard size 12. It’s £69 HERE and is also available in light grey.

Cos Cardigan

This is the shorter version in the same knit linen but more friendly if you don’t like droopy. It’s a slimmer fit and comes in brown, white and black in sizes XS – L. I like this because it’s versatile – button up and tuck in (or not) and it’s a linen sweater too. It’s £55 HERE.

Cos Cardigan

This is the best time of year to scoop up cashmere bargains – this pale pink cashmere wrap is half price at £67 instead of £135 and is made from recycled cashmere. It’s only available in size S but again, because Cos tends to come up big, I’d probably take an S in this. Again, it’s such an easy wear especially over dresses. You can find it HERE.

Cos Cardigan

I love an open work knit – I like the silhouette of a racer back or strappy top underneath. This is made from paper yarns which I’ve never come across before but give me a v-neck and open work and I’m in. I think this one works for both dresses and trousers and is available in XS through to L. It’s £55 HERE.

Cos Cardigan

Finishing with a bit more cashmere – again, half price and available in all sizes from XS to L, this is so nicely minimalist that there’s nothing it’s not going to be right for. It’s in a relaxed fit which means it won’t cling and a v-neck gives it an airy, summer feels. It seems perfect for wearing over t-shirts and strap tops and a pair of jeans or linen trousers. I think it’s a bargain at £62.50 instead of £135 HERE. It’s described as white but contrasted against a white t-shirt, it’s more off-white/cream.
