60’s Style With Felder Felder

Identical German twins Annette and Daniela Felder’s London Fashion Week catwalk show, Felder Felder, on Friday was inspired by the 1960s and featured fringing, mini skirts, cowboy boots, John Lennon-style glasses and a soundtrack that included Give Peace a Chance. The more wearable pieces, for those of us not skinny and not in our twenties, were leather-fringed shawls, kimono coats and longer print dresses. The sisters say their ideal client is “A charismatic woman who is at ease with herself and the world. Age doesn’t matter. A Felder Felder woman is young at heart.”

One of the sponsors of the Felder Felder show was UK skincare brandSkinDesignLondon who launched their brand at the show and whom I was a guest of. The brand is also owned by two sisters (one of the reasons for the collaboration with the Felders) Fatma and Gulcan who run a beauty salon Azamay in London and have developed SkinDesignLondon as an anti-ageing range. My first try of their Sleeping Beauty cream, £85, was good as it sank in immediately last night and this morning my skin felt baby smooth. It contains avocado and rosehip oils which my skin clearly loved. Could be the start of a new obsession for me…as soon as I’ve got hold of a kimono coat!
