The Body Shop Banana Range

I’m never sure with Body Shop what’s a re-visit and what’s brand new, but I did have my first ever banana experience (stop it) a few weeks ago with the Truly Nourishing Conditioner. Which was, as stated, truly nourishing. There’s a certain thrill to using something that smells so familiar – and banana is such a positive, creamy-fruity scent that it transitions from the fruit bowl to the shower perfectly. When I was young, my mum used to give us banana and cream as a pudding – yes, double cream and sugar on the top of that! Yum.

The Body Shop Banana Range

My top pick from the banana range is the Banana Body Yoghurt. For a start, it’s a lovely, hyaluronic infused formula anyway that feels cooling on the skin and properly hydrating. Secondly, it’s a little bit lighter on the fragrance (in my view) so if you don’t want banana overwhelm, it’s probably the one for you. Banana, no matter how you mix it, as a beauty product, always has a bit of a soapy backdraft. Incidentally, The Body Shop uses banana puree from irregular bananas that the food industry won’t buy.
