Soap & Glory Call Of Fruity

I’ve seen so many reviews of this new range from Soap & Glory that I was just going to leave well alone because all the information you’d ever need is already out there. BUT, it’s really deliciously scented and falls into that neglected category of bath and body that’s between cheap and cheerful and posh and pricey. Anything, no matter how it’s priced (your budget, your business). that gives you happy down time is a plus in my book but some things do feel a bit more treat-y than others. My over-riding feeling on this range is that everybody had a good time making it! There’s lots of word play and alliteration (love me some alliteration) it’s just fun.

Soap & Glory Call Of Fruity

The scent is kind of melon meets Dolly Mixtures – but I promise it’s not horrible unless you’re averse to either of those. Personally, I think it’s a fun, summery scent (which is odd for an autumn launch) that puts you in a holiday frame of mind. In terms of products, there’s a body wash, Bubble In Paradise, a body butter, No Woman, No Dry, a body lotion, The Way She Smoothes and a body oil, Paradise Glossed, to name a few. I told you they’d had fun with this! Prices are pretty reasonable, with the body wash at £6.50 and £12 for the body lotion. It’s all launching at Boots very shortly and I think we can expect the bumper value packs that S&G are known for around Christmas time.

Soap & Glory is a Boots brand after being started by Marcia Kilgore in 2006.
