[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It’s a hands day today – next up is this glove-mask for hands that promises TLC in the form of moisture, healing and skin scenting. Hmm.

I’ve used this type of mask before and I can only guess that there is one ‘glove’ manufacturer who makes for a variety of brands because they’re all huge – like giant hands! It looked familiar as soon as I opened it and I while I understand that one size has to fit all, it does seem like there could be some sort of refinement because you could be a 7 foot lumberjack and still find them roomy.

The glove has a sticky tab at the wrist so there is no leakage and it secures the glove so it’s not loose. It needs to be left for half an hour so make sure that you don’t have anything fiddly to do. The first ingredients are kind of predictable – water, cetyl ethylhexanoate (a good emollient), butylene glycol (for smooth consistency), glycerin (humectant) and cetearyl alcohol (texture enhancer and emollient) with the rose, Vitamin C and beeswax all appearing so much further down to be negligable in efficacy. But that said, I tried one hand so I could compare the two throughout the day and the hydrating effects are long lasting.

I was impressed that my hand bounced back to life in terms of suppleness and plumpness. It’s £7.99 HERE for a pack and a nice, budget treat for hands if you’re in the mood for pampering. If not, a decent hand cream will do the same job. Oh, and, although the lotion does smell of roses (lightly), you don’t have the benefit when your hands are encased in the gloves and afterwards, although obviously more present, it doesn’t last more than a few moments.
