[productsample] The thing I like about the Scottish Fine Soaps Au Lait range is the sweet, milky scent of it. For this version, the brand has added something a bit deeper using musk and sandalwood.
I don’t know how much you should mess about with that very pure creamy scent – and maybe it would be better with something we more naturally associate with milk such as cinnamon, cardamom or even chocolate. I do like it because the musk notes are subtle – I’m just not sure how seductive you can get with a picture of a cow on your label. In terms of foam – oh yes – plenty of it in a rich lather so the bathing experience is delicious and it’s definitely long-hot-treat-yourself bath season. I also think it’s quite reasonably priced at £14.99 HERE (although you can shop around for it and find it a little bit less). I love it for the glam and that it looks exactly like the treat it is.
