[unpaid/sample] I posted about some candles in January of this year from this beautiful shea inspired brand founded by Valerie Obaze who was born in London to Ghanaian parents. I’ve used a lot of sanitizers (as have we all) over the past few months and while there has to be a certain amount of similarity in the composition in order for it to do its job effectively, I’m really noticing those that leave a lovely fragrance after the initial alcohol burst.
At first I was grateful for the medical smell, because it was a good reminder why we are being so careful, but now I appreciate something that stays a while that isn’t quite so – hospital-ish. This one leaves behind such a lovely, fresh smell of lemongrass and even if it is brief, it’s uplifting. It also contains shea butter and aloe so it’s very low impact on the skin. It’s an easy treat at £5 a bottle HERE. I must admit it looks quite understated – I’d definitely do something a bit more zippy with the packaging to reflect the contents.
