The thing about sleep mists is that they’re not going to set you off to sleep on their own, despite being full of soporiphic aromatherapy oils. However, where they’re really useful is as an association with sleep – the more you use it, the more you associate it with sleep and the quicker your brain will send you off. The NEOM Sleep Mist has jasmine, lavender, chamomile and patchouli amongst others and it is that kind of drift off fragrance that I think you’d very happily have on your pillow.
I used to be very sceptical of aromatherapy but I do know I can emerge from an Aromatherapy Associates bath almost unconscious so I have experience of them working very effectively. I think if you’re easily susceptible to the powers of oils, NEOM Sleep Mist is going to be highly helpful, and if not, you could pretty much use anything that you associate with a good night’s sleep to train your brain to make the link.
Either way the fragrance of NEOM Sleep Mist is sort of post-spa and would be delightful to have on your pillow just for the heck of it. It’s £8 HERE.
NB: Sorry, this links to the original travel version of 5ml – the new version and full size is £20 HERE.
