My last Molton Brown product (a candle) was a real disappointment for being so light on fragrance – I might not have the keenest sense of smell in the world but it would be nice to get a nuance, at the very least. So, I’m pleased to say that the Molton Brown Rosa Absolute body wash and body lotion both have an adequate amount (still on the skimpy side but good for those who don’t want a fragrance dousing) and it’s very pretty and autumnal.
It’s a blend of fruity-rose with a woody and patchouli base – deep rather than fresh, and so in keeping with the time of year I think. I’ve used the body lotion and it does leave a scent trail on the skin that lasts a good while although once it’s merged with your skin, you get more rose than anything else. There is an EDT if you like the idea of the fragrance at a higher dose but I don’t have it to try so can’t tell you anything more on that one. Otherwise, I think the Molton Brown Rosa Absolute is more of a hit than past releases and good for autumn treats or birthdays. The Bath & Shower Gel is £20, the Body Lotion £25 and the EDT £39.

I smelt the matching edt first and its lovely. I asked, (this was early last month if a matching body range) and told yes. I bought the shower/bath gel and body lotion really lovely if you like rose and agree not overpowering.
Not a fan of body wash, but my sister would love these. I’ll have to tell her to pick some up when she visits her friend in the UK!

I loved the scent of the perfume but found it didn’t last unfortunately. Love their festive frankincense and allspice handwash though.
