Mitchell & Peach Travel Set

I remember first coming across Mitchell & Peach when they were all about the lavender fields and Kent summers. They’re still farming in the English countryside and including their own lavender essential oils and cobnuts for cold pressed oil in their body care, but have cast their net wider for more exotic fragrances to include in their signature scent, Flora No.1.

I love a decent travel set, and have all the warm feelings towards Mitchell & Peach for including Bubble Bath AND Shower Oil – hey, it’s not all showers on holiday you know! I can see they’ve had to sacrifice hair conditioner, but it seems a small price to pay for a steamy bath full of pretty floral notes. I’ve used the body lotion – it’s really very good (don’t be thinking hotel amenity body lotion – this is a highly superior thing) and all products are free from parabens, mineral oil, sodium lauryl sulphate and synthetic colouring.

I think if you’re heading off for a pamper weekend, the Mitchell & Peach Travel Set couldn’t be a better companion, especially as it includes a facial oil, too. They’ve partnered with Molly Mahon, an English fabric designer, to create a lovely quality bag that comes with the set. The one thing I’d say is that I think they’ve been a bit mean on the amount of fragrance used – I found it quite difficult to pick it up at all, other than to say my skin is left with a sort of floraly-greeny-skin scent. If you like your fragrances very light and non-intrusive, then it’s for you, because product quality is perfect, but if you want a big inhale of something lovely as you lie in your bubbles, this isn’t it. You can find the Mitchell & Peach Travel Set, £25, HERE.

Little typo in your post Jane – you call it Mitchell & Kent in the second paragraph (for obvious reasons!) x
