Miller Harris Rose Silence Bath Oil

This is definitely my favourite fragrance from Miller Harris. I know I’m obsessed with roses at the moment but it’s been my favourite for a very long time I promise! I think it’s one of the most gentle roses I know of – sweet and green and very calm.

Miller Harris Rose Silence Bath Oil

It’s one for those frazzling days where you just need to steep in hot, fragrant water and get rid of all the stress. Actually, it’s also great for those who don’t like an oily bath because as soon as it hits the stream of hot water from the tap it turns into a milk so you don’t have little balls of oil sitting on top of the water. Personally, I don’t mind these as I kind of imagine that as I get out they’ll all cling to my skin and moisturise it (and I like that hot skin massage-in) but if you like the idea of a non-oily skin softening treat, this is yours. It does contain oils – moringa, sweet almond and argan (with sweet almond at the top of the list which means there is more of that than any other – I should point out that it’s also the cheapest).

I did find it to be skin softening but if you need a big fragrance blast, this isn’t it. If you prefer the idea of a lightly rose, milky steep, it’s just the ticket for gloomy January. It’s £36 HERE.
