If you’re passing Top Shop, look out for the little Merci Handy hand sanitizers – cute, cheerful and very useful. I am sure I didn’t used to be such a germophobe but the first thing I do when I’ve been anywhere out is wash my hands when I get home. I carry individual wipes for on the go (actually also because if I’m meeting brands or PRs there is a lot of swatching in situ going on and I need to take them off with something!). I find that most hand sanitizers are just too medical smelling – it’s one thing to want to be clean but it’s another to smell like you’re about to perform a tooth extraction!
These are jolly in that they’re scented (in a general gummy bear kind of sweetness) – coconut, cherry, vanilla, floral, lollipop, wave and lemon. They’re approximately £3 each and teeny weeny so they won’t weigh your bag down. More importantly, I haven’t found them to be drying.

I know what you mean about being a germophobe, I’m the same way and always carry a hand sanatsier in my bag. Personally I love the Body Shop hand sanatsiers, they smell wonderful – especially the grapefruit and coconut ones. I haven’t found them to be drying so I’d recommend trying them. Next time I’m passing a Top Shop I’ll pick one of these up.
Hope you and your family have a Happy Christmas 🙂 x
