If you missed the parental outrage over the £50 price tag for a certain YouTuber’s 12 day beauty calendar, I thought I’d bring us back to reality with this one from MAD Beauty at £10.99. Actually, there is a choice of two different styles and they’re both the same price.
You know what – I really can’t find fault with this. As you might expect, they’re not luxury products, but they’re bang on for the intended market with fruity fragranced beauty treats (hope you like strawberry!) that will be just as fun to open and you probably won’t shed a bitter, £50 poorer tear every time you detect your teen smelling of pink milkshake.
Lip balms, a bath bomb, bath salts and body lotions – it’s all here for a little surprise treat either in the run up to Christmas or as a Christmas gift for a daily opening into the New Year. That said, it’s not Christmas branded and the products aren’t Christmassy as such (other than a few stars) so really, that 12 day thing is open to any interpretation that you please.
