Lanolips Lanostick

[sample/affiliate] As a long-time Lanolips fan, I have never got tired of seeing new variants. This is new to me although not new to market and I think I’m converted from the tube version.

Lanolips Lanostick

It’s the same emollient format as the tube versions but solidified to make a stick – the easiest thing to pop in a pocket or chuck in your handbag. It’s still a tad too glossy to be a unisex version I should think and a matt version of this would, I think, go down a storm.

It’s got a slightly lemony scent (very slight) and no taste whatsoever (yay) and I would absolutely love to see some colour versions of this. Lanolips is quite slow to bring out new products – which in these frantic beauty launch times is rather nice – but I’d snap up coloured versions in a heartbeat and just have to keep my fingers crossed that they’re in development.

One of the issues that is always raised when I feature Lanolips is availability – and guess what! Out of stock other than as a duo with the Scrubbie (lemon scented lip scrub) HERE at Net A Porter, non affiliate HERE

You’re so right . . . their stock problems drive me wild. Love their products (especially the strawberry lippie that clears up my flaky dry skin on my lips perfectly). I’ve gotten in the habit of buying anything I can get my hands on when I see this in store at Ulta. Their display space is small on the shelf, tucked away and hidden, and the little space they do have is never full . . . always looks picked over. I hope that’s because it’s so popular they can’t keep product in stock but it always just looks forlorn.

Still . . . happy to see this product (also new to me). Totally agree with your thought about the tinted version.

  2. Oooh, yes! Just what I needed, thanks for the update. I love Lanolips in the tube but was actually unable to squeeze out some this weekend after a few hours in the woods – and it wasn’t even below zero! A stick-form lipbalm always has its place, even though they’re often not as emollient as those in tubes or pots.
