After the disappointment of Superdrug’s sweet range (not smelling of anything at all really never mind the sherbet lemons etc) a couple of Twitter friends recommended the Imperial Leather Fruit Salad Shower Cream as something that does actually smell like it sounds. I picked up a bottle at my local supermarket, and sure enough – like showering in a downpour of Fruit Salads!
There’s a whole selection of sweetie ‘flavours’ if a sugar hit is the way to start your day (I can’t say that I’d choose this myself to be honest, but it’s definitely a fun olfactory experience) – choose from Marshmallow, Sherbet Lemon and Spearmint. Before I even knew this range existed I’ve been after a spearmint shower gel, so that’s next on my list to track down.
I think this was around the £1.50 mark – which doesn’t seem a lot, and although it’s a bit too early, my first thought was that they’d make brilliant teen stocking fillers.
