Freya + Bailey Rendevous Souffle Body Cream

[unpaid/sample] We’ve had a few days of strong sun and while I haven’t been sunbathing (because these days it’s so boring and also, I don’t have a nice sun lounger) my skin is definitely asking for a bit more moisture, particularly on my shins and feet, just from pottering in the garden and incidental sun.

Freya + Bailey Rendevous Souffle Body Cream

Rendezvous from Freya + Bailey is a burst of moussy, silky shea butter than melts into the skin, leaving a glorious scent of coconut and a softer-than-soft feeling. A lot of shea butter products I’ve used can feel like they’re lying on the skin (or perhaps I was just too generous with myself!) but this is everything I don’t expect from a full-bodied shea – light, non-oily and immediately absorbed.

Freya + Bailey Rendevous Souffle Body Cream

Because of the coconut (lightly boosted by vanilla and lavender) aroma, it reminds me of holidays. Better yet, the formula is 98% natural, fully vegan and free from all the things you may not want to put on your body (parabens, silicones, synthetic fragrance and so on – but does contain palm oil). Obviously, it’s full of skin friendly fatty acids and vitamins and overall is a star performer – a little goes a long way so don’t dig in and slather because you just won’t need to. It’s £20 which I think is great value. You can find it HERE.

Sounds superlovely. I much prefer a butter – counterintuitively I find runny lotions take forever to absorb!

Thank you for this Jane, I may have just treated myself to this and a couple of other things while I was there! Have a significant birthday coming up which I am not looking forward to so this will be a lovely present from me to me!!
