[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m going to let you into my #lockdown brain – I was just utterly convinced that this was a body oil – I know it says Pillow Mist quite clearly on the bottle but my brain read Body Oil so I very liberally sprayed myself with it before deciding it was one of the worst body oils I’d ever used, despite smelling delicious.
To boot, I gave myself a headache because it’s powerful stuff and then had to have a shower to wash it all off. Also, unknown to me, it’s a sexual wellness blend designed to promote intimacy so frankly, what with the headache and all, it failed – or at least, I did. But, out of context, it’s a very warming and soothing ylang-ylang and patchouli based blend where a little goes a long way – it’s £25 HERE, non-affiliate HERE. I’m quite keen on spritzing mists onto warm towels for making getting out of the bath or shower more of an experience so I’d use it for that but I think, in terms of an aphrodisiac, I’ve ruined my chances of scent association because I almost drowned myself in it. Romantic linen mists are on the rise (forgive me) – I’ve also recently tried thisworks Love Sleep Pillow spray which is also ylang ylang and patchouli based and has a bit more sleep power to its elbow which it should at £30 a pop HERE, non-affiliate HERE.
