[productsample/affiliate] This is something I tried at the Indi Beauty Expo last week and I’ve kept on trying it ever since.
It’s got a very lemony scent but in more of a Bronnley lemon soap way than a freshly cut one. Perhaps because it’s more lemongrass than actual fruit but either way, it’s reminding me so much of my grandma’s guest bathroom where the special soap was saved for visitors. It’s a lovely, emollient balm that’s vegan with a 96% natural ingredient content (I very much doubt the scent is one of them!). I thought, from the feel of it, that it would be shea butter based – it has that light and softening texture – but in fact, it’s a mix of coconut oil, almond oil and grapeseed.
I’m always drawn to sunshine colours and this is a nice, Vitamin C boosted balm to have for any wintery dry bits such as elbows or shins. However, it’s more of a thick cream than a balm and I find £14.90 a bit steep for 50ml. At Beauty Bay, where I’m linking, there is 20% off HERE.
