To be honest, I thought, when I first opened this that it was a bath product, but it’s not – it’s the most glimmering body gel I’ve ever seen! It looks like a constellation has burst on my arm. It has all the sweet and powdery notes of N0.5 that I truly love so maybe this is the sparkle exception for me. Every year at Christmas, Chanel presents a body version of their fragrance in a special way – and they do love a sparkle so this isn’t unexpected (just thinking back to their Shimmering Scented Gels earlier in the year).
I still get people dropping me a line asking if the bath oils are coming around again. So, this looks like it’s it for the big version of Christmas Chanel and if you love both sparkle and Chanel No.5 it’s clearly a complete winner. It’s launching on 27th October – these limited editions sell out fast even at £70.
