[unpaid/purchase/affiliate/ad] Yesterday morning (early), I nipped up to Selfridges to see the CHANEL Factory 5 Pop Up store – honestly, it’s fun and even worth seeing from the outside as the most premium factory line you’re ever likely to come into contact with. I’m aware I didn’t have to queue because it was before the store opened (but I did my queue time on Bond St last week) and by the time I left at about 9.25 there was a small queue forming but nothing like the initial rush.
Selfridges is the only outlet in the UK for the Oil Can (if you want the paint can, it’s in stock at the time of writing HERE) so I was pleased to be able to buy it (there was a press bag to be completely transparent but the oil cans are rare as hen’s teeth). As far as I can work out, Selfridges restocks a certain amount each morning which are usually all gone by the end of the day and I will assume that the same applies for their on-line stock. So, if you want any of it you have to be early doors, either physically or via the website HERE.
Chanel.com has completely sold out of everything.

There’s a robotic arm (ably assisted by the ‘scientist’ – ahem 🙂 and it’s not the first time CHANEL has gone robot-y. The card shown in the main picture is from 2011 and their Makeup Confidential website launch. That doesn’t exist any more but the card has lived on my fridge for a decade. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m obsessed with CHANEL Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint (on offer for £45 instead of £50 HERE) and spotted that in Asian markets there is a Water-Fresh Tint Blush either on it’s way or just launched.
