Oh wow! I was so curious to try this German brand because it’s had a bit of a social storm. It’s aimed to a younger audience without a doubt but for anyone who loves the scent of melon, coconut, donuts (eww) or berries, try it! It’s £3 which seems ridiculously well priced and it’s not horrible. I was expecting very artificial fragrances and yes, you’re not going to accidentally think a real watermelon is with you in the shower, but I really liked both of these for being fun, fresh and making me smile by not being laden with headache inducing ethyl maltol (synthetic vanilla). I like most coconut fragrances and this is no exception.
The foam is super light – a really whippy, airy kind of foam and the texture actually reminded me of some of the Japanese and Korean facial foam cleansers I have (remember the rose shaped nozzle on one of them that produces the perfect foam rose when you squirt it?). Ingredients listed are aloe vera, almond and avocado oils and the texture is soft feeling on the skin. My skin certainly didn’t feel dry after showering but let’s remember that it’s mostly air in that can so I didn’t expect a full moisture drench. Shake it well for a bigger foam burst.
