Aveda Rosemary Mint Bath Bar

[productsample/affiliate] The scent of Aveda Rosemary Mint is one of my favourites – you get the right amount of each fragrance with mint, and in particular, spearmint, rising to the top. The news for both the shampoo and the conditioner is good for the planet – both are how housed in 100% post-consumer (stuff we’ve used before like milk cartons) recycled, high density polyethylene bottles. In short, better for the environment, less taxing on waste and more mindful.

The Bath Bar is a new product for your whole body so you don’t have to confine that wake-up mint to your head alone. It’s nicely creamy in texture, so feels skin softening and is a good, chunky size. You don’t need to confine this to the bath or shower, despite the name. Personally, I like this as a kitchen soap for hands not least because I get to use it several times in a day rather than just the once in the bath or shower.

Aveda is proud of its ‘Pure-Fume’ as an aromatherapy addition to its products – the combination of rosemary and mint is one of the most invigorating fragrances. Just have a sniff at the bar if you need to clear your head – another reason to keep it at a nearby sink and not hidden away in the shower. You could also cut it into quarters and use as a gym kit soap.
