[samples] I’m going to go all Marie Kondo on you for a second and say that when I opened up Ruby’s porcelain brush holders, my joy was definitely sparked!
They’re very stylish and move what is usually a utilitarian product into something that’s an absolute pleasure to use and see.
They’re white ceramic on the outside and fully neon (pink and orange) on the inside so you get something of a glow from within especially if you have them near a window and the light can get to them.
I’ve actually seen very similar vessels used as tea light holders which I imagine would also work perfectly as the translucency of porcelain lends itself well to any light source. However, in particular the larger pink style, these do work so well as brush holders (I’ve commandeered some sparkly Real Techniques ones which will get their own dedicated post in due course).
Ruby’s thinking on these is that in the same we apply a pop of colour to our faces with make up and brushes, she wanted these holders to bring a smile to your face in the same way as when you’ve put exactly the right lipstick on. I agree – I love looking at them and they’re energising in any room. The large pink is £18 and the smaller orange is £15 HERE. I’m starting to see what Ruby is doing with her brand – bringing colour, in a stylish way, to the tools that keep us beautiful.
