Paul & Joe Seasonal Collection 2019

[productsample] There was never going to be any chance of the rest of the seasonal collection from Paul & Joe being as spectacular as the advent calendar but if you don’t want to go all-in with the most expensive product they’re offering this time, these are the little ‘fancies’ that will be available from Novemeber 1st.

These two tins contain a moisturising hand cream – they remind me a bit of Steam Cream because of the tins but the cream inside is more weighty being fuelled by olive oil and shea.

The flowery tin contains a winter floral fragrance blend that has a little citrus and some green notes – it’s supposed to suggest snow but I’m not sure it does. It’s pretty and fresh though and very nicely emollient. The animal tin is more herbal-floral and lighter in fragrance level I think. There’s nothing not to like about either especially at £11 each.

As you can see, the hand-held mirror is perfect dressing table fare – it features brand founder Sophie’s cat, Gypsy.

It’s more ornament than anything I guess – but handy for quick checks to make sure your lipstick is still in situ. It’s in limited quantities and costs £14.

Lastly, there’s a primer trio containing an Illuminating Primer, a Protecting Primer (with an SPF42 compared to the SPF15 of the other two) and a Moisturising Primer to use before applying foundation. I really rate Paul & Joe’s primers – I don’t think they get the attention they deserve so although it’s perhaps not the most exciting of the offerings, I think anyone would be pleased to have it. I don’t have a price for this one although the launch date is the same as the others.

I love the Paul and Joe primers. I use the moisturising one and wouldn’t be without it. It has a magic something too and makes my skin look a bit perkier
