[unpaid/sample] Yes, you read that right. So, these furry friend compacts depicting Sophie Malachy’s cats are either going to be the cutest things you see today or the scariest things you see! I’m edging to cute except when they’re in the box and then I just need to let them out!
I need to add that I got these far too late and they’d sold out on FeelUnique and Beauty Bay although I have found them on a site that I haven’t used before which is HERE. But, what do you think? They also sell the blush refills. As far as I can work out, it’s based in France but they ship to the UK no problem.
Paul & Joe blush is one of the few exceptions to my rule that creme blush is best. They’re so finely milled and lightweight that you can’t feel them on your skin and they diffuse so beautifully. These are split into dual shades in case you want to accent or highlight (I don’t) but if you don’t want to you can just blend together for a third shade.
In the picture above, the shades from top left to right are: 04 Mischief, 05 Music Box, 09 French Toast, 08 Capricious Cat (lightest one), and 01 Secret d’Or. The blush shade refills are all still available for £18 HERE each at FeelUnique but you’ll need to have a case from a previous purchase.
In the swatch, it’s French Toast, Mischief, Music Box and Capricious Cat. I think you can tell it’s so cold in my kitchen – my arm looks blue! 01 is not swatched.

These are cute to me–that is, until they get all dirty and grimy from being handled with makeup hands. Then they’d probably be considered terrifying. LOL! Paul & Joe makes the cutest makeup packaging!
They do, don’t they! I think they have to be kept in perfect condition as otherwise, as you say, grubby cats!
