Pat McGrath Labs Coming To London

The news! At last, Pat McGrath Labs is coming to the UK in the form of a A Technicolour Odyssey, a ‘multi-platform’ campaign with Selfridges.

Pat McGrath

I know the products are available on Net-A-Porter, but theirs is seemingly an edited range whereas the whole shabang is coming to Selfridges. The Pat McGrath Labs collection is taking over a retail space in Selfridges for three months, and thereafter I imagine there will be a counter permanently. So, bearing in mind that (many of the) products are already on line, I think it’s the events that are the big draw here. I had the pleasure of meeting Pat in Milan a few years ago and watching her work on models for a D&G show – I don’t think I realised at the time I was in the presence of beauty royalty because back then, Instagram hadn’t really taken hold and make up artists weren’t quite in the celeb-sphere they are now. So, the events. Firstly, you need to sign up HERE to be the first to know about spaces opening up to the Pat McGrath In Conversation and the Pat McGrath Masterclass. Those will just book out immediately so you’ll need to be quick on the draw when you get a notification email.

If you want to have one of the Pat Mcgrath ‘experiences’ (with Pat’s artists) you can choose from a Glitter Lip, a Runway Power Pout, Smoke & Mirrors (which might be eye, I’m not sure) or Put A Wing On It. Appointments are half and hour plus, and cost from £30. Booking are being taken now HERE.  Everything starts from April 4th.

Brilliant news. I am nowhere near London(I am in Northern Ireland), but being able to order more of the range is great for me. I tried ordering direct from the Pat McGrath site but kept having problems at checkout and just gave up.

This is the best news! Very good timing for me- I almost checked out on net-a-porter earlier this month but they didn’t have exactly what I wanted (mostly the mothership V palette). Prices firmly put the brand into splurge category for me and the online site was out, as customs charges are something I didn’t want to be saddled with. I’m so happy we’ll have access to the full line- the lipstick minis are also calling my name!- and what a treat it’ll be to stick my fingers in product and have a play. About time!
