Last night I was at a dinner hosted by long time blogging pal Ruth, AKA A Model Recommends. She started a little after me (I’ve just had my 10th year anniversary!) but we’ve trodden the same internet path for many years and had some very fun trips together (the time we discovered a (non UK) PR for a well known brand was also running a sex toy blog… as just one example!) so it was great to catch up and find out more about her beauty boxes with Feel Unique. As these things can be a little chaotic (further complicated by the fact that I’d found a stranger’s mobile phone in the back of a cab and made arrangements for it to be collected – they turned up with a bottle of pink Bollinger in the middle of dinner!) I accidentally left behind the other box which was actually my favorite one. So, I’ll run through the contents of both but only have pictures of one.
Ruth has personally picked out everything (which isn’t always the case with beauty boxes, let me assure you) and curated the Rescue Box above for its hard workers with new mums in mind. Who has time for a double cleanse when there’s a baby howling? So, contents are: L’Oreal Cicacrem (sensitive skin friendly smoother and hydrator), Balance Me Cream Cleanser (a quick smooth-it-on-wash-it-off before bed), Lanolips 101 Balm (everyone’s favourite everything balm for anything dry), NIP & FAB Sensitive Pads (exfoliating pads that you just swipe and go), Color Wow Styling Cream (when your bed-head hair won’t behave) and Magnitone Wipe Out Cleansing Cloth (you literally only need water and a quick face smoosh to be rid of all make up).
The value of the box is £70 and it costs £30 HERE.
Elizabeth Arden Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules
I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
The box that I’m more drawn to is the Indulgence Box – I’ll run through the contents but Feel Unique as a site doesn’t let you screen grab, so I literally can’t give you a picture. What a pity. But I could source a picture of one of the content, the Aromatherapy Associates Travel Set which will tell you straight away why it’s my favourite box! Contents are: AA Travel Set (three individual oils for bath or shower to mood monitor), Neom Tranquility Candle (super soothing perfect bath partner candle), mini Darphin Rose Aromatic Care (a beautiful face oil for dry skin), Aquis Hair Turban (who doesn’t need one of these!) and Nuxe Fraiche de Beaute SOS Mask (a gentle but powerful SOS hydration hit). This box is £45 with a value of £105 HERE.
We’re rather over-run with beauty boxes at the moment so when good ones come along, they’re to be grabbed immediately. I’d gift the Indulgence Box in a heartbeat to anyone who needs some thoughtful comfort and permission to pamper.
