Dior Advent Calendar 2019

I guess this is the ultimate fashionista AND beauty lover’s advent calendar because it depicts the workshops inside 30 Avenue Montaigne, Paris, where Dior creations come to life. What I love about it (well, just one of the things!) is that it’s properly illustrated (by artist, illustrator and interior designer Vincent Darré). I spotted this at the Selfridges press day back in the summer and it was the one thing I didn’t forget and I’ve been nagging them for a launch date ever since.

There are 24 windows, and in each one a Dior surprise – either a fragrance (7.5ml), a body cream, a candle or a gift. I’ll list the entire contents at the bottom of the post so don’t go too far down if you don’t want to see. Even at £340, these sold out in hours not days last year – actually, last year was the first time I even realised that Dior had jumped very glamorously on the advent train.
