One of the benefits of seeing Christmas products from multiple brands in, oh about June time is that you get to see the seasonal trends emerging. Apart from Beauty Advent Calendars, which are everywhere this year, this little novelty headband and mask sub trend is emerging. We didn’t really have novelty head bands a couple of years ago (l know I’ve got a tiger one and a panda one somewhere – I accidentally fell asleep in my panda band and Mr BBB came to bed to find the ears poking out of the duvet) so they’re fairly recent and a byproduct of the Korean beauty trends and making everything cute. I am fine to make fun things out of every day items I’ve got to admit – I say this as the owner of a device that squashes a boiled egg into the shape of a rabbit.
This one is from The Body Shop Face Mask set and comes with 9 single use face mask sachets made up Himalayan Charcoal, British Rose Plumping and Japanese Matcha Tea Anti Pollution.
While it’s probably the ugliest rabbit face I’ve ever seen (it looks stoned), it’s a nice price I think at £12.
This Minnie Mouse headband is from MAD Beauty and it’s £4.99 – it doesn’t come teamed with the Minnie Mask below but it should!
The Minnie face mask, when you open it out, actually has Minnie’s face on it! It’s £3.50. I’m not sure why the brand didn’t put them together – they’re a natural fit! You can find them both HERE. I think this time next year, bands and novelty masks together will be a THING!
