ZOZO

So, if you saw my original post about ZoZo, the body suit that takes your exact measurements (with the help of your phone) allowing you to order up an exact fit pair of jeans or trousers.

ZOZO Jeans

Following my previous post, ZOZO got in touch and offered to send me a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. They’ve now duly arrived and been tried on (although Lucy, who ordered hers well before mine but didn’t have the interception of the press office, hasn’t had hers). Sure enough, they’re a brilliant fit – the length is exactly right, as is the waist, which sits just below my belly button. They fit perfectly at every single point. If you struggle to find perfect fit jeans, whether it’s waist size, bum fit or leg length and don’t want to spend hours trudging round the shops or at the post office sending stuff back, I feel fairly certain that you’ll get exactly what you need with ZOZO.

The only thing I’d say is that on me, the denim loosened quite quickly which tells me I prefer something with a bit more elastane in it so it hugs for longer. They need a ‘fashion fit’ option I think. The t-shirt is also the perfect fit, but again, a fashion option would be good – I like my t-shirts long and loose and this is shorter than I’d buy for myself. However, that’s my personal preference and if you’re on the small size and every t-shirt you buy is too long, you’re in business!

ZOZO is a start up business and I love their line ‘we love shapes, not sizes’ – if your shape doesn’t confirm to traditional sizing, I can’t recommend highly enough with the above caveats. I’m on the hunt for a really sharp fitting pair of black trousers in a tailored style – it’s this kind of thing that I think is ZOZO’s future – imagine being able to just dial up the perfect fit suit or trousers; definitely worth paying for in a time hunting vs throw money adventure.
