Absolutely no complaints at all about the YSL Spring 2017 Collector Palettes, collectively known as The Street And I Collection. One’s an eye palette and the other is a blush and I guess the mood they’re going for is a kind of street art, graffiti look – the blush palette has a brick design running across the actual blush.

I was looking back at the YSL Collector’s palettes and wishing I’d kept more that came my way (when I worked for print, I always had to send the product into the publication for photography and didn’t have a blog back then so didn’t even photograph them). At the back of my mind, I remembered a very limited edition Facebook Palette from 2012 – quite forward thinking of YSL at the time, because they’re fairly traditional with social.

The limited run of 1,650 was sold via their FB page.

The palette is really pretty – very wearable, despite the pop of orange (trust me, it will look better in summer!).

The first swatch is the blush – a crushed orange shade that can go as vivid or as subtle as you like, and the palette swatches are above. Both palettes are £42.50 (ouch) but have 10% off at Feel Unique HERE.

Gorgeous, uplifting colours and love the wording! I am in. Really cheered up this grotty January day. Thanks Jane xx
