[unpaid/sample] I don’t know this brand particularly well – I know it shot to fame with its long last brow gel, and then again when it launched a collection with Catherine Zeta-Jones but I think this is the first time I’ve been hands-on with the products.
Texture-wise, these are all you’d expect of a modern matte – silky and non-drying – and there are only four shades which cuts out the overwhelm. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing but I can see that busy brains might quite like the idea of less choice – that said, if none resonate then another brand will have your business. The brand promises long wear and it did last well on me although perhaps not the full six hours. It’s helpful to have hyaluronic acid in there to prevent drying.
At the same time, I tried the Lash Extension Curl Mascara, £19.95, which gave me nicely separated, longer looking lashes that lasted all day. In terms of curling, there was definitely some uplift – if you used lash curlers before hand (which I didn’t) that would help in terms of curve but some lashes are curl resistant not matter what. So, not a miracle but a very decent mascara.
The shades I have here are Gimme Red and Needed Nude – they’re £20 each or to buy as a pair for £32 HERE.
