This award has to go to Vogue’s November Make Do & Mend Issue in which they suggested we use black pipe cleaners to fashion ourselves a pair of ‘statement’ eyebrows. Vogue, what were you thinking? Thanks to www.beautyeditor.ca, a special mention must go to Cosmo US October issue in which they advise using a thong as a hair tie as a ‘fun’ trick that guys love. And we read this stuff, why?

The first thing I thought was “were both of those tips published on 1 April?” – sometimes I really think there’s a competition going on between the writers at those magazines to see who can get their readers to do the stupidest/most disgusting thing!
