There’s a Pina Colada thing going on in my kitchen right now, thanks to the Woodwick Pineapple Candle and its friend, Coconut. Delicious! The pineapple fragrance is super-fruity and smells more pineapply than any real pineapple and I cannot knock the intensity of coconut either.
I had both of these on the burn for about half an hour this morning – I left the house for a couple of hours and there was still a trace of both left in the air. Actually, just leaving the lids off these puts a tropical fragrance in the air, and I did leave the lids off so maybe it was that – either way, if you are a fan of either of these scents, you will adore these candles.
The one thing I find a bit weird is that they’ve got crackle wicks so they make a ‘log fire’ sound effect – that’s fine for the middle of winter when it’s lovely and soothing but seems a bit odd on a summer morning! There only seems to be the Woodwick Pineapple Hearthwick style left HERE (£24.99) but plenty of the Coconut (£17.99) HERE. As fair warning, you might want to lock up your credit card because I am seeing all kinds of candles that are ridiculously tempting including Island Sunrise: a mix of citrus, melon and ginger.
