I’m not usually carried away with celebs but have to admit that Gwyneth Paltrow is knocking it out of the park in this BOSS Nuit Pour Femme campaign. BOSS Nuit Pour Femme is going to be one of the fragrance biggies this year; if you know that BOSS Bottled (for men) has sold 70 million (yep, count ’em) bottles since its launch in 1998, then you realise what the potential is!
What we in beauty world might forget is that BOSS has a whole fashion arm and Gwyneth’s dress (well, maybe not that exact one in the picture; surely she’d get to keep it, right?) is part of the line-up for autumn winter at Hugo Boss stores. Suddenly, I’m getting the image of the man in a tux, lady in little LBD looking all kinds of glamorous setting off for where? I’m not sure – a casino in Monte Carlo, dinner in Paris..?
So, to the fragrance. Well, it’s rather beautiful. White peach over jasmine and violet, leading to bottom notes of crystal moss and warm woods. Who wouldn’t want to?
Prices start at £20 for a deoderant – I’m in on that one for a start; discovering posh deoderants is a place I definitely want to go, much as I adore my beloved Mitchum, and finish at £50 for 75ml EDP. Everything launches this week, so keep your eyes peeled.
