Regular readers of this blog will know I am more than just a little bit in love with my Clarisonic cleansing brush. So, I’m also quite excited to see that the next bit of Clarisonic love we’ll be seeing over here is the Opal Sonic Infusion System (already launched in the US). It promises to unwrinkle the under eyes (yes, please!) using a tool and serum (anti-ageing Sea Serum) system to condition the undereye skin with, of course, sonic massage that works so well for cleansing. It appears to be that by massaging the undereye area with the Opal, it drives the Sea Serum into the outer layers of skin in 30 seconds flat, and the blurb says ‘it immediately tightens, soothes, tightens, refreshes and energizes the skin’s appearance’. Whilst I don’t generally take much notice of ‘blurb’ the original Clarisonic blurb said it would give the best ever cleanse, and it does. So, maybe – and hopefully – this will live up to expectations too.
No idea when it is launching here – in fact, I did Twitter the Clarisonic people to ask for a product to trial but they never replied. They might do pretty things to your skin, but that is Twitter-Rude.
Stateside, the Opal costs $245.
