Okay, I don’t think anyone has done this before, but I’m going to let a PR Agency take over my blog for a day – assuming anyone is up for the challenge.
I think it would be incredibly useful for them to see what it takes to make a blog like this one tick over on a daily basis.
Rules:
You need to deliver five posts in one day.
You need to take your own pictures of the products and resize them to fit and use them to illustrate the post.
You need to source at least one brand new story that nobody has seen before.
You need to respond immediately to anything newsworthy you find on other social media channels, including Google+, Instagram, Vine, Facebook, Tumblr, blogs, websites and LinkedIn and convert them there and then into a post.
One person from the agency will have access to my emails so you can respond to incoming news and sort out whether the people who read BBB will be interested or not.
You will need to post fairly and judge every single product on its own merit and blog your views accordingly. You may do one post about your own client/brand but written in the style of BBB.
You will need to be ready to deal with reader queries and comments while communicating throughout the day on Twitter.
You will need to send out at least two Instagrams and respond to comments.
You should be prepared to retweet posted posts at intervals that don’t make everyone feel like they’re being bombarded.
You will need to analyize the stats and react to popular posts while re-promoting less popular ones.
