Van Cleef & Arpels GWP

First by Van Cleef & Arpels is the first fragrance I ever remember noticing because my mum wore it when she was going out on special occasions. I wear it myself now, from time to time, but because it was my mum’s signature scent, it’s hard to make it mine too if you see what I mean. But I absolutely adore it – it just puts those nights of being tucked up in bed before she left to go out in her glamorous dresses right to the forefront of my mind every single time I smell it. There is an ‘intense’ version launching soon which is wonderful. However, the picture above is the new Van Cleef & Arpels GWP – so if you buy any 50ml fragrance from Van Cleef, this little miniature trio is yours, free. It’s one of the loveliest GWPs I’ve seen for a long time – who wouldn’t want those mini-pretties?
