Valentino ‘Valentina’ Fragrance

I have totally fallen for this fragrance that launches in early October without ever having smelled it. The bottle is just amazing – truly worthy of a space on anybody’s dressing table. I love that it is just simple elegance rather than a display of the ‘shouty’ packaging we’ve seen with some fragrances of late. Nude, white and pink.. nothing else needed. The scent itself is a tribute to today’s Valentino woman and the idea of paradoxes (I have a great long press release that describes those paradoxes but I’d rather jump of a cliff than reveal them: I think I have spoken before about the journey of sheer fantasy that only a French fragrance press release can make) and is filled with the most delicious sounding notes. Calabrian bergamot, white Alba truffles, jasmine, orange blossom and tuberose with a drop of wild strawberries. It’s all evened out at the base with amber and cedar. I will be trying it out but I can just tell from the ingredient listing that I’ll love it.
